The Lighthouse

Staying in the Lighthouse you will experience a unique maritime atmosphere and location, where nature and living merge into one. The Lighthouse, which is situated at Møn’s south-eastern point where the majestic Klint rises from the sea, has Møns best panoramic view of the Baltic Sea. From the large, green garden fringed with hedges, you have your very own private steps leading down to the beach where you can go for a swim or go fossil-hunting.

The lighthouse and its beacon light are still active. Every day it casts its rays across the Baltic Sea where it can be seen many kilometers away. The Lighthouse dates back to 1845 and since its completion, it has been guiding boats across the water and been the home of the lighthouse keeper. Today the light source is automated and the lighthouse fully renovated bringing together Danish ‘hygge’, Nordic design and nature’s own colours.

Only he who wanders finds new paths. Hiking routes on Møn are countless and all completely different. Camønoen is 174 kilometres long, stretches across three islands and a multitude of cultural landscapes.

HORSEBACK RIDING

You can experience the beautiful and diverse nature on Møn on horseback all year round. It's amazing how mesmerising horse ears can be when they calmly but surely rock from side to side in front of you.

KAYAKING

The sea can be an adventure playground. Kayaking in the waters by Møns Klint is a life-affirming experience. Here, you will feel both small, a little surprised, but also strong and invincible.

MOUNTAIN BIKING

The undulating landscape in East Møn is perfect place for anyone wanting to have a go on a mountain bike along some of Denmark’s most winding and hilly roads.
